I cannot decide whether the best part of the movie was the shot of the Decepticon's 'ball sac' as wrecking balls, Sam spewing over having the 'tongue' shoved down his throat, or the bit where Sam's mom got high off hash brownies and tackled that dude playing frisbee. Fair game, honestly. But! I will say that one thing I absolutely adore about these two consistently stellar films is that it feels very much like a war flick at its dusty, bullet-ridden, debri-coated, strategic and chaotic finest--with a bit of drama, plot, humor and robots thrown in the mix. Plus a hot female lead that actually does not get on your nerves. I know some of you hate her because all the guys drool over her (my sister is one of them) but the character is solid and BAMF, and the girl can actually act.
While of course I enjoy Sam's character and his parents and even the weird agent and all his weird underwear preferences, I think my fav characters--human at least--are the soldiers from NEST, specifically the two that run the show and don't follow orders they do not particularly agree with. BA, funny, and extremely hot.
And my fav transformer remains BumbleBee; even if Optimus scored really high for me in the sequel. Damn robot made me cry and kept the monologueing to a minimum. He also kicked all sorts of ass.
If you haven't seen it, go see it. Five stars for me.

Anywho, I could write a more intelligent comment, but I'm running on three hours, pixie sticks and dum-dum pops. *laughs* Keep up the good writing (the MattxNear community NEEDS authors like you!)

I really, really appreciate the support on SA. Every single day I think, I MUST update Scattering Ashes (which, in prospective, isn't really that taxing as there are only four chapters left) but for some reason--and I think it has a lot to do with the big changes happening in RL--its been really hard to sit down and type up the next chapter. I think it possibly has something to do with closing a door in my life, blah blah snore. But! Writer's guilt is more powerful than Writer's block, and I have never not finished a story, so I will surely have an update soon. And I mean within a couple of weeks soon, because I'm at a point where I can't even think to write anything else.
So it makes me immensely happy that there are readers still out there who haven't given up on me! Keep a lookout!
Thanks again,
Gloria
